Đorđe Cicović is a diplomat serving at the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the EU in Brussels. After he graduated from the University of Belgrade, he obtained an MA degree in EU International Affairs and Diplomacy from the College of Europe in Bruges.
He started his career as the representative of the Republic of Srpska to Brussels. In addition to this, he was engaged in various activities by different entities such as the British Council, Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to UNESCO, Federation of Regional Actors in Europe (FEDRA), OSCE International Election Observation Mission to Bulgaria. Furthermore, he used to be a student representative in Belgrade and President of the Belgian branch of the Organization of Serbian Students Abroad (OSSA).
Nowadays, professionally based in Brussels, he expanded his interest and knowledge in different fields such as EU – China Relations, Energy Issues, Sustainable Development, European Regional Policies, SME’s Promotion, Foreign Direct Investments, etc.
He was awarded the title „Honorary citizen of the City of Bruges“ in Belgium.
