Vladimir Putin has officially opened the XIX World Festival of Youth and students held at the Olympic Village in Sochi, Russia from 14-22 October 2017.

More than 25,000 young people from over 185 countries participated in the festival.
Some of the primary goals of the Festival were strengthening of international relations among youth workers, promotion of Russian language and culture, gathering of youth around justice, preservation of common worship and history, and development of interethnic and intercultural communication.
During the Festival, a series of workshops on topics such as Culture and Globalization, Global Economics, Social Institutions Development, Politics and International Security, and Economy knowledge were realized.
International Consulting Group representatives participated in all the organized activities of the Festival aimed at strengthening international relations, creating a framework for stronger and more intensive international cooperation, as a precondition for participation and deliberate activism of our youth in all the international frameworks of importance to youth.
