Law Chamber of Belgrade hosted a presentation of the possibilities of professional improvement at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, aimed primarily at graduate jurists.
The project was jointly implemented by the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Law chamber of Belgrade, and International consulting group, and supported by the Belgrade Russian center for science and culture.
The attendees of the event were addressed by Dragoslav Ljubičanović, secretary of the Executive Board of the Law chamber of Belgrade, followed by Vasiliy Galaktionov, deputy director of the Russian center for science and culture, and, last but not least, Miloš Stolić, secretary-general of ICG.
The core of the event was the presentation given by Natalija Radivojević, student ambassador of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and law associate of ICG. She introduced the historical background of the university; the possibilities of applying and obtaining scholarships for different study degrees in the Russian Federation; and, especially, she focused on study programs aimed at professional improvement of graduate jurists.
There are also programs of the Financial university aimed at improvement of graduate jurists in the field of economic offenses, law of banking, corporate law, law and financial control, law and entrepreneurship, stock market law and energy law.
Altogether, this joint event comes as a result of the initiative by Natalija Radivojević, whereby on July 11, 2019, a Cooperation Memorandum was signed between the University of Belgrade and the Financial university under the Government of the Russian Federation, and with an annex of the contract between University of Belgrade Law faculty and the Financial university, which enables academic exchange starting with the academic year of 2019/2020. This academic exchange implies the possibilities of improvement of the Russian language and professional terminology for students, as well as professional improvement in line with programs specially designed for graduate jurists.
Attendees agree that the project holds special value to both young people in Serbia and graduate jurists professional improvement. The experience of Natalija Radivojević is even more precious having in mind that she is both student ambassador of the Financial University and associate of ICG. Hence, her engagement in such projects is an extraordinary opportunity to introduce the Russian educational system and improvement possibilities Russia has to offer.
